NOTE: If you are registering by mail you must provide a copy of your
photo identification OR a copy of proof of your current residence (e.g.
a utility bill).
If you are registering by
mail, be aware of the registration deadlines. Your registration form
must be received by the Salt Lake County Clerk Elections Division or
postmarked at least 20 days before the election in which you wish to
vote. Otherwise, your name will not be in the Official Register of
Voters for your precinct and you will not be allowed to vote.
If you miss this registration deadline, you will be allowed to register
at a Satellite Registration location on the Friday or Monday one week

Registration may be done in person at the Salt Lake County Elections
Division, 2001 South State Street, Room #S1100 up until the Monday one
week prior to the primary or general election. The office is open from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on legal
holidays.
To Register To Vote In Utah, You Must:

Be a citizen of the United States;

Be at least 18 years old;

Be a resident of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election;

Not be a convicted felon currently incarcerated.
